Morning:
Very nice - about 35 degrees, sunny, no wind. Pedestrians I pass seem to have a decidedly more sanguine look than the past two brutally cold weeks. Photo is another rare sighting of a rider on Memorial Drive. I've been riding this for two years, day in and day out, and I have probably seen only about 4 riders. It's definitely a little nerve-wracking to ride it because although the posted speed limit is 35, everyone does 45 to 50.
Evening:

Stop the incessant carping. It's cold--we get it.

Dear Raleigh Man: If you hadn't run away to join the Confederate forces you'd be carping too.
