Friday, March 10
Morning:
54 degrees - finally the cold snap is over. It rained last night, so all the road crud that has been accumulating during the dry, arctic period of the last two weeks has now been dissolved into a viscous muck coating the roadways. Photo is of a Plymouth that pulled out right in front of me on Comm Ave - it was a close call - I had no time to brake - had to swerve into the other lane.
Evening:
Damn! The weather is turning nice! About 62 degrees this evening. I made my way up Mem Drive to the BU Bridge to get to Allston to get to Marty's - AKA Mecca - to procure some Aqua Vitae. The first photo is of BU Bridge - someone once shouted at me to "get off the road" here. It's a crazy MF confluence of traffic here. The second photo is of The Temple where Libations to Sooth the Weary Bicycling Soul may be procured.

That would also be where I barfed on the sidewalk after running out of the place - right at the bus stop. I was there returning a keg from a party the night before. When ran out to barf, some kid oberved me and could only say "ewwwwwwwwwwww".
